We give our highest recommendation for Hilary Murphy and her wonderful photography!
We could not be happier with the photos she took of our children, ages four and six.  All of the photos were beautiful and she was able to capture the essence of our children in just a short photo shoot.   She was prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with.  She was patient with our children, even though they didn't always follow directions, and she made them laugh and put them immediately at ease.  All of the pictures she sent us were wonderful- it is hard to chose which ones to frame!  We will certainly be coming back to Hilary for more pictures in the future.  As a small aside- she is very reasonably priced for the quality of the work that she does.  In sum, Hilary is an outstanding photographer and we are delighted that we chose her to photograph our children.

"We had a family photo session with Hilary in October of 2013. It was the first time we were to be photographed as a family since having daughter, two years ago.  We have a six year old and a two year old. I was excited for the session,  but also a bit anxious about how it was going to go. You just never know for how long a six year old and two year old will be willing to cooperate. 
The session took place on Hilary's property. I felt at ease as soon as we stepped out of the car and were greeted by Hilary. She immediately began having a conversation with our six year old and answered all of his questions. Hilary was so flexible and willing to accommodate both of our children and their whims! She made the photo session a fun time for all of us! The kids climbed trees, jumped in leaf piles, and played on the tire swing all while Hilary took amazing photos of them. We walked, hand-in-hand, and talked, and just enjoyed the beautiful morning! The kids really enjoyed spending time exploring the property. They were both sad when our hour was up and it was time to leave. Our six year old was so sad to be leaving, he cried on the way home. 
The photos that Hilary took were amazing! She really captured children's spirit. We gave the pictures as gifts and used several on our Christmas card. We received so many compliments on the beauty of each photo. Hilary is a gifted photographer! I will be continuing to recommend her to everyone!"

"Working with Hilary was amazing. She got tons of awesome shots. My husband and I both think that we are not very photogenic and we more often than not hate pictures that have been taken of us....but Hilary was able to get a lot of great photos that we both loved!
